🔍 Peer Review Process – IJMETS

International Journal of Modern Developments in Engineering Technology and Sciences (IJMETS)

IJMETS follows a rigorous, double-blind peer review process to ensure the academic quality and integrity of all published articles. Our commitment to fairness, speed, and transparency ensures authors receive fast decisions and valuable feedback.

📤 Paper Submission Process

  1. Authors must submit their manuscript online via the Submission Portal.
  2. Upon successful submission, a Paper ID will be emailed to the corresponding author.
  3. Authors will receive regular updates and can track the progress of their paper using the assigned Paper ID.

🧑‍⚖️ Editorial Screening

The Editorial Board will:

  1. Conduct an initial check for plagiarism, formatting, and compliance with IJMETS author guidelines.
  2. Screen submissions to ensure alignment with the journal’s focus and scope.
  3. Reject submissions that do not meet basic standards or are outside the journal’s domain.
  4. Forward accepted submissions to an assigned subject expert reviewer.

🔄 Peer Review Process

  1. IJMETS uses a double-blind peer review system to maintain anonymity and objectivity.
  2. Manuscripts are reviewed by two independent experts in the relevant field.
  3. Reviewers evaluate:
    • Originality and innovation
    • Quality of content, language, structure, and data analysis
    • Relevance and contribution to the field
  4. Based on their evaluation, reviewers recommend one of the following:
    • ✅ Accept
    • 📝 Minor or Major Revisions
    • 🔁 Reject with Resubmission Suggested
    • ❌ Reject

All decisions are reviewed and confirmed by the Editor-in-Chief before final communication to authors.

✉️ Communication with Authors

  • Authors will receive decision emails including reviewer comments (in anonymized form).
  • If revisions are requested, the manuscript is returned to the authors for amendment.
  • Authors are expected to address all comments and resubmit within the given timeframe.

✅ Final Acceptance & Publication

Upon acceptance:

  1. The author must submit the Copyright Form and payment details.
  2. The manuscript will be published within 4 hours under a Creative Commons Attribution–NonCommercial–NoDerivs (CC BY-NC-ND) license.
  3. A publication certificate and online access link will be emailed to the author.

⚖️ Fair Play Policy

IJMETS evaluates all manuscripts based on intellectual merit, without regard to the authors’ race, gender, ethnicity, nationality, or political views. The editorial decisions are guided solely by the importance, originality, and clarity of the submission.

IJMETS adheres to an Open Access publishing model under the CC BY-NC-ND license. Authors retain copyright of their work.

  • Reuse data/ideas in future research
  • Distribute the article for academic or educational use
  • Use the article in presentations and lectures
  • Grant permission to reuse figures or tables with credit

✅ Rights Granted to IJMETS:

  • Publish, distribute, and translate the work
  • Create non-commercial adaptations
  • Archive and index the article in all formats
  • Enforce copyright when necessary

✍️ Author Warranties

By submitting to IJMETS, authors confirm that:

  • The work is original, not under review elsewhere, and not previously published.
  • Any third-party material is properly cited, and permissions are obtained.
  • The manuscript contains accurate data and is free of plagiarism or fabrication.
  • All listed authors have contributed meaningfully and agree to the final submission.
  • No part of the work has been reworded or replicated from previously published studies.

Authors are responsible for the content and legal integrity of their manuscript. If ethical violations are identified post-publication, appropriate corrections or retractions will be made.
