📜 IJMETS – Terms and Conditions

International Journal of Modern Developments in Engineering Technology and Sciences (IJMETS) accepts original and high-quality manuscripts from various fields including Engineering, Science, Technology, Management, and other research domains. Contributions may include research articles, review papers, case studies, theses, or final year projects.

📌 Paper Publication Process

  1. Authors must submit papers in Word format through the journal’s official submission portal or via email at editor@ijmets.com.
  2. Upon submission, the author will receive a paper ID, and the manuscript will undergo pre-screening by the Editorial Board.
  3. If the manuscript meets the initial criteria, it is forwarded to a peer reviewer, who will recommend acceptance, rejection, or revision.
  4. Upon reviewer approval, an official Acceptance Letter will be sent to the author.
  5. Authors are required to submit a signed copyright agreement and publication fee within the specified deadline.
  6. Once the required documents and fee are received, the paper is published online within 4 hours in the assigned volume/issue, and a Certificate of Publication is sent to the author.

🔁 Article Withdrawal & Refund Policy

IJMETS allows article withdrawal under strict guidelines:

  1. Authors may withdraw a paper within 4 hours of submission or before acceptance, without any penalty.
  2. Manuscripts withdrawn after acceptance or during/after peer review will not be eligible for a refund.
  3. Unethical withdrawals (e.g., submitting elsewhere during review) are strictly prohibited.
  4. Any plagiarism, duplicate submission, or fraudulent authorship will result in withdrawal without refund and a formal notification to the author(s).
  5. Changes or corrections are not permitted once the paper is published. Any post-publication change will incur additional charges.
  6. Publication fee may vary based on the author’s institutional affiliation (domestic or international).
  7. The journal reserves the right to withdraw papers if it is later found that the paper’s topic does not align with the author’s academic field.
  8. IJMETS will issue a formal Manuscript Withdrawal Letter if necessary.

🛡 Copyright Policy

  • Authors retain full copyright of their work.
  • Authors must sign a Copyright Agreement, granting IJMETS a non-exclusive license under Creative Commons (CC BY) terms.
  • This license allows users to reuse, download, distribute, and reproduce the article, provided appropriate credit is given.
  • IJMETS may:
    • Publish, distribute, translate, and adapt the work.
    • Make the article available across all platforms and technologies.
    • Enforce copyright if needed.

✍ Author Rights

Authors are permitted to:

  • Use data, figures, or content from their article in future research.
  • Reproduce the article for teaching, coaching, or academic purposes.
  • Present their published paper in seminars or conferences.
  • Allow others to reuse parts of the work (with proper citation).

✅ Author Warranties and Responsibilities

By submitting to IJMETS, authors affirm the following:

  • The manuscript is original and has not been published elsewhere.
  • The paper is not under review in any other journal.
  • All data and third-party content is properly cited and used with permission where required.
  • The manuscript is free from plagiarism and misrepresentation.
  • The author is solely responsible if found rewording or republishing existing content without proper attribution.
  • All authors have agreed on:
    • Author order and contributions,
    • Final content of the paper, and
    • The submission of the manuscript.
